Before you uninstall
Uninstalling deletes this app's records but leaves the watches in place. Clean up first if you want them gone.
Do this first: Settings → Pause all rules, then Settings → Remove all watches this app created. Wait until it finishes. Then uninstall.
Why it matters
The app keeps a record of exactly which watches it added. That record is how it tells its watches apart from people's own. When you uninstall, Atlassian deletes the app's data, including that record. After that, the watches look like any other watch, and nobody can tell which ones the app made.
What happens on uninstall
- Atlassian deletes all the app's stored data: rules, the watch record, opt-outs, sync history, activity log and settings. If you reinstall within 21 days, you can ask Atlassian to reconnect it.
- Watches stay in place. People keep getting emails for them until they unwatch.
- No more syncs run.
Keeping the watches on purpose
If you want people to keep watching, just uninstall. The watches stay and people manage them themselves.
Reinstalling later
A reinstall starts empty. Old watches from before aren't known to the app, so it treats them as people's own and never removes them.
